Calatrava - Ready to fly

Calatrava - Ready to fly, originally uploaded by tabrandt.

I admit to this being one of my favorite buildings. I walk by it almost every day and see it differently almost every time as well.

What is it? (You have to remember that I live in a tiny little rural town in the deep south, and don't travel to big cities (with big buildings) very often. I have been to Atlanta, Georgia on a few occasions, though.)

Thanks for stopping by. This is our local Milwaukee Art Museum designed by Santiago Calatrava and named 'Quadracci Pavilion' although I have not heard it called anything other than the Calatrava. If you ever get to Milwaukee it is a must see, the lighting and the site of it are magnificent.
