Peaceful Morning

We were up with the birds. Camping with the Boy Scouts we tend to get up a bit on the early side anyway but yesterday the younger of my sons that was with me and I were up especially early and had time to take a little walk down by the pond where it was so calm and peaceful I could have hung out there all day.

It was a wonderful weekend where the older scouts worked with and showed the younger scouts (cub scouts) what it means to be a boy scout. They get their hand at helping make meals, clean up, time to talk and play as well as learn some of the boy scout skills like using a jack knife, tying knots, putting their own tents up and many more things it takes to be a scout.

They also had time to hang out with their dad, so I guess we all had a great weekend.
