What a great night!
I didn't want to go to the fireworks because I didn't want to battle the crowd on crutches. I didn't want my wife to drop me off and then park 10 blocks away and then have to figure out how she could find me and then the nightmare of trying to get the jeep and come back to get me. Just the thought of this made me think that fireworks were not in my 2010 plans.
Then someone who works at our church tells my wife that we can see the Hales Corners fireworks directly from our church parking lot. You can't see any of the ground show but that is fine, we still saw about 99% of the show without having to fight the crowd, walk a long way to get to our spot or fight the crowd when the show was finished.
We were able to find a really nice spot in a parking lot (minimal mosquitoes) and set out camping chairs up, get out some snacks, visit with friends, sit back and enjoy the show.

Great picture! I love it. It turned out very nice.
That is an awesome picture! My fireworks pics did not turn out so great. I am so not learning how to use my camera as well as I thought I would. I may as well go ahead and sign up for a photography class...
Hi Melissa. You should most definitely sign up for a photo class. It will give you some confidence with your camera and then you will start taking photos of everything! Thanks for the nice comment.
