No Goal

No Goal, originally uploaded by tabrandt.

I spend quite a bit of time watching my boys play hockey and subsequently take lots of hockey photos. Hockey is one of those activities where once your family gets involved you find out that it is a very time demanding activity.

... with that said, I love it. I never was able to play hockey growing up and it has always been one of my favorite sports. My oldest became hooked on hockey 10 years ago at the age of 3 when we went and watched the Milwaukee Admirals play at the Bradley Center with some 'free' tickets we were given. I have since figured those were some of the most expense 'free' tickets I have ever seen.

Each year is new and exciting as the kids continue to grow and get better. They play with some kids from the previous year as well as some new kids, which means making new friends.

If you get a chance, go see a local youth hockey game. I think you will enjoy it.

Yah those free tickets to the Admirals Game ended up really costing us in the long run!! :) Now we get to pay for hockey for 3 - not a cheap sport by any means. But great exercise for the kids.
