Took my youngest, JJ, to Indian Mound Reservation (IMR). All three of my scouts really enjoy weekends at this campsite shooting bows, bb guns, playing with friends and when it was as hot as it was swimming was at the top for things to do.
We skipped a bunch of the activities so that we could concentrate on swimming, playing mini-golf and shooting the bow.
We had the tent all setup and were just about ready to turn in for the night when we were told there were possibly severe storms headed our way and they would let us know if we needed to be evacuated. That was all JJ needed to hear, he didn't want to stay anymore... so, I packed up the tent and we headed home at about 10:00 PM that night.
We still had a blast just like we always do and we are already looking forward to another weekend up at IMR.
