"Our kids play hockey" This simple statement is normally enough to raise an eyebrow or two. Questions like "Isn't it really expensive for kids to play hockey?" and "Don't kids get hurt playing hockey?". I seem to think that life in general is a bit expensive and kids get hurt wresting in the basement when they think mom and dad aren't paying attention. I think that it is all too common in today's world that kids spend too much idle time off playing video games, watching TV or playing on the internet and having them involved in a sport that gets them physically active has some benefits.
